Well looks like God wants me to get better at my English… I am recieving a new companion from good old North Carolina! I have heard lots of good things about him including an Elder in our room when he heard who was coming, he started screaming like a little girl and woke up a little baby downstairs and they yelled at us! hahahahahaha! So funny!
So the Baptism was awesome this week! Even though we had trials… it was able to go through. We filled the font up in the morning and then we got there 30 minutes early and the water had gone down… oh no….. wow…. so we had to wait an hour to fill it up!
Luckily his brother took forever to get there so we could not start anyway! Diana also came to the baptism and she is so stoked for her baptism this next week! WOOHOO! She is so awesome! By far one of the best investigators I have had! She reads the Book of Mormon! She comes to church, she wants to feed us lunch( the best part) just kidding! hahahahah. So both of them are doing absolutely amazing! A member from San Francisoc brought his friend and she is super interested about the church! We have a lesson with her on friday! I am stoked! Wow God blesses us big time!!!!
We were able to go the temple with two rescued members and 3 recent converts! So awesome! They loved the temple! The oldest one, Ana, went on the trek with the Young Single Adults, she is doing awesome! Raquel bore her testimony! SOOO sick! I love this gospel.
On top of it all, we were able to remember Christ especially this week. Wow, I bore my testimony of Christ and it was so spiritual… I am so thankful for him. To think of all He did for me… CARRYING me at the beginning of my mission… in the moments that have been the most difficult in my life… I love my Savior… I love him so much.
I hope you have the best week and can remember the Savior more.
So this week was absolutely amazing! The Lord blessed us so much this week to be able to find so many new people and to be able to teach so many people about this wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ.
We now have two people progressing towards a date. One is named Jesus and he is amazing. It amazes me how God works because Elder Lambson taught his older brother who lives in Augustino and we are teaching his younger brother and my companions convert is going to baptize his brother! WOW! How amazing! I love how great our Heavenly Father is and how he knows where we should be. He is doing well… we are just missing a couple lessons and he should be baptized this Saturday! Wow! This week we found 10 new investigators this week and we are so excited to work hard with them!
A family that we are teaching, the Guitirrez family, that I sent the picture of to you guys, they are amazing and so humble… I cannot believe the faith they have. They bought their son a white shirt, their daughter a dress so they can come to church all dressed up and they are so poor… it is so amazing… they have such great faith… such amazing faith. If you could see their house… they amaze me.
Diana … also amazes me with her great faith! We had a division with some elders and I was not able to teach her but she came to church even though she was sick and her son as well! She was exhausted but she came!!!!!!!!! She is absolutely amazing! I’ll make sure to send pictures of her home so you guys can know her a little better! She should be baptized if all goes well the following week! We are seeing some serious progress and I am loving it here!
This week on Saturday was my companions birthday! If you would like to wish him Happy Birthday here is his email. firstname.lastname@example.org so that was way awesome and I gave him a tie and some spider traps cuz I had some left over. hahahahahaha. How crazy right! It was a good day! He told me it was the best present he had recieved.
We had the sweetest district meeting ever! Our zone was struggling and the assistants came, we gave a little training and they did too and we got our zone stoked and we saw the results! Last week as a zone of 14 missionaries we hade 267 contacts… this week we had 401…. wow! We are getting things going and we set a goal for every area to have two baptisms for the 23rd of April to have a white night!!!!!!!! woohoo!!!!!!!!
So things are going amazing! I love this mission. I love my companion and I love the many blessings I am recieving! I hope you all are enjoying them as well! I thank you guys so much for the support! Keep pushing forward… the church is true… we can make the decision…
The church is still true down here in Perú
Wonderful Sunday dinner with the Velasquez Family’s!
A fruit here called Chirimoya!
The top of our area looking down! This is where the Guitirrez family lives.

Wow the time is going by so fast and it kind of scares me… hahaha. This week was amazing… We had a special conference with Elder Lynn G. Robbins who gave the talk in 2014 that changed my mission! But honestly… he surpirsed me with what he talked about. I was so stoked to be filled with doctrine and have some new insight on how to be more powerful.. teach better.. be a better Zone leader… and he gave some help on that… But he focused so much on getting along with your companion and related that to marriage… he talked a lot about marriage…. wow so glad that is not going to happen soon… hahaha….😓🙄🤔 it kind of scared me because he was like if you don’t get along with your companion you will get divorced… hahahha… wait what??? I feel like it was not directed at me because I get along super well with my companion and have for quite some time but man he was so direct and I think it scared and kind of woke up a lot of missionaries which was good!
Diana came to church! She is progressing and we have another investigator who just needs to be visited and we will have another one with a baptismal date! Wow! We are being blessed because of our diligence… We had 73 contacts this last week and we found a cool family that lives soooooooooo high up on the mountain.. we did divisions so I did not go but it is soooooooo far up!!!!!
Things are going super well! We taught a guy yesterday that can hardly walk and man he started crying and the spirit was super strong!
I wanted to share with you all in 1 Nephi 18 verse 9 and wow… it says how they forgot the Lord and then if we keep reading we see all the consequences of forgetting the Lord… I invite all of you to read this chapter and analize it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you all!
Wow… What a week… So we had a good P day… man… We played a bunch of running games… and I was dead…… My whole body hurt so bad… hahaha… So today we hit the gym of an old investigator.. man did it feel good to lift weights! hahaha.
This week was very good! Much to tell… We rescued two more less actives and they want to get sealed!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow! Such a great and humble family! They are working super hard and are taking classes to prepare themselves for the temple! I would be so happy to go to a sealing! Anyways…
We did a division with Los Angeles… they are struggling and it was one of my old areas… But I had my old companion Elder Delgado… the Columbian come with me and I worked him hard… We contacted, taught, contacted more and after the division we talked and I asked him what he was going to do he said contact…. But they still were not contacting… they talked to one person in one day!!!!!! So we started calling them at lunch and taking their numbers everyday and they did a lot better… not super good but they are getting better! So that is a plus!
I had a nice talk with my companion Elder Lambson! We are overcoming challenges and working together! He is a great guy who has a very sincere desire to work hard!
So Diana…. didn’t come to church…. nooo… But we went with a member and wow… She was like all day I have felt bad because I slept in… and the member was like yeah that is the spirt telling you ya missed out, now you had better learn from this and go to church… wow… it was so amazing! She learned a very important lesson… how amazing… She was like no matter what I will be at church next week, early, and I will stay there the whole time! Wow… she is going to be an amazing convert! She is progressing like crazy! So we are stoked about her! When we went to visit her on Sunday some crazy stuff went down… so she lives on a street where there is no outlet… so we are walking down the street and there is a big party were they are drinking and playing carnaval.. it’s basically where people just soak each other with water and sometimes paint… but it is slowly dying down because it’s illegal anyways a lady… about 22 is playing and she sees my companion and heads straight for him… she had no water but I had a sick feeling… she was drunk and she starts talking to him and I was ready to protect him… anyways she says how beautiful his eyes are and is like massaging his hand… then she looks at me and says wow even more blue and grabs my hand and tries pulling me into her but I resisted and the member was like you need to stop and she was like I am not letting you go until one of you gives me a hug… we told her no and that we had to to go… then her guy friend who was also drunk comes out and he asks me where I am from and I was like the, United States and he says what state… Idaho, then he tells me no it’s pronounced Ohio… I was like No I am from Idaho. He was like well here we say Ohio and I was ya but that is another state and he was like no it’s Ohio and I was like ya it’s Ohio then.. man I hate talking to drunk people because they always try to talk super close to your face and you can smell the beer… it’s disgusting! hahah. So we made it out alive… sooo crazy!
But good week! My testimony this week was strengthened so much in the plan of our Heavenly Father and the wonderful trials he gives us to help us continue to progress! I love you all and wanted you to all know how much I love my dear mother! She is such an amazing lady that has and forever will have the greatest impact on me. She has carried me through my life, throughout my mission. Her support and love was unconditional and always there. Her prayers never wavered… full of faith, full of care. I love you Mom! Have a good one!!!!!!
Well this week was a very good week! There are so many things to tell!
So to start off with the most important! Ana, Raquel, and Diego were baptized! Wow it was an amazing expereince! Three people were baptized! Three were able to make covenants with our Father in Heaven and I think Diego(He is 10) put it best… after I baptized him he says “wow… I feel so good!” and then after coming out he was like ” Wow ya just feel so great” hahaha. So simple… yet that is the gospel… so simple a kid can get it and feel it yet it takes a lifetime to understand. Wow so that was so cool to experience even though I had not taught them very much. It was so great to see the support they had from their family and a less active member of their famly talked to me and he looks me in the eyes and says “I am going to return”… wow… how amazing it was to hear him say that because we wanted him to baptize them but he was not worthy… but he is making the necessary changes!
We rescued a less active in our ward named Carlos and wow he is way cool! So humble… their house is so little and humble but they are willing to do whatever they need to do to help someone else!
This week we had a multizone meeting with President where he talked to us about how we all have the important job, how we are all one in Purpose! The assistants talked about the importance of using members in our lessons and how we can utilize them to help and befriend and not just be present in the lesson! And wow… it works!!!!!!!!!!!!! BECAUSE….
Yesterday we had a lesson with Diana… an investigator we found about two weeks ago and she came to church yesterday for one hour and liked it but had to leave because of her kid… she is a single mom. Wow we made arrangements for the Relief Society President and her husband and her first counselor to come visit her with us… Wow… I invite each one of you to ask the missionaries to visit a family with them! Members have such a key role in this work! If it wasn’t for them I don’t think Diana would have felt the spirit so strong nor have accepted a baptismal date! WOW! It was an amazing lesson!
We also had some intersting stories with people trying to attack what we believe… Yesterday · a person from another faith came to buy food in a store and we are outside calling and then he asks my companion for his Bible… we always carry a Book of Mormon in hand to give away and then he asks me and he opens it up and playing dumb he asks but this isn’t the Bible and I was like ya that is why it says Book of Mormon… hahahaha. And I was like but we also carry the Bible don’t get too worked up. He asks to see my Bible and I give it to him and he shows me some scripture about Jehovah and he is like who is Jehovah and I smile… laugh… because it’s the same thing every time… I say Jesus Christ they say no… they go to John 17 verse 3 that in no way explains what they are trying to prove but I go along with it and so I show them Ezekiel 16 verse 63 that destroys them but they still don’t accept it nor do they understand. Then he says well you guys think differently… okay… and then I ask them… hey do you guys have your meetings today… yes…. Then I ask them so today is the sabbth day… yes… THEN WHY ARE YOU BUYING ON THE SABBATH DAY and they laugh and just ignore us and walk away! HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Well I love how my faith grows because of the opposition that is put in my way!
I love you all so much!!!!! Let us remember the Savior as we come closer to Easter!!
